T&T uses a variety of natural and factory made products. The emphasis and focus is on upcycling, and repurposing materials when possible. Other items include: copper, brass, nickel, iron. Bones, teeth, antlers, leather, beaver tail leather, feathers, berries, plants, flowers. Glass cut beads, vintage pearls, and jewelry, epoxy molds, rocks, sticks and crystals.

All materials I use, have been gifted, purchased or personally picked/collected/cleaned, and loved. All animal products have been sourced ethically, and many have been travelling with me for many years. Items are mainly from Manitoba, however there are items that I have collected from my travels all over the globe. Traditional Indigenous protocol (laying tobacco) is used when picking plants/or choosing plant items.

Copper/Metal: The best and easiest way to polish/clean copper is with baking soda and dish soap. Gently soap and then rinse. Wiping dry with a soft cloth. Copper is a living metal, and will oxidize and darken. Copper items with a patina/flame painted, may lose their coating/color over time : this is normal, and is just one of the ways that copper evades our control.

Leather/Natural Items/Other: Gentle wiping with water, using a q-tip or small paintbrush, to remove exterior soiling. Leaves/berries etc. Should not be cleaned with water/solvents, and should be treated delicately.

If your piece breaks during shipping/ within 72 hours of receiving/wearing, and it is due to the shipping carrier/accidental, please contact me so I can provide a replacement/ or directions for repair. If your piece is a delicate item eg. hawthorn thorns) be advised that they will need to be stored carefully, and treated as the one of a kind art items that they are when wearing.

Shipping is a flat rate for the countries listed. If your country is not listed, feel free to email me to discuss. As well, all displays will need to have shipping determined for your address due to their size and weight. Local pickup from Stonewall is FREE!!
